Wedding Photography in Gloucestershire.

Whilst the Jubilee celebrations began this weekend I was lucky enough to be Alex and Dave's wedding photographer and celebrate their day.

The wedding on Saturday was held at The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury a beautiful venue which the couple and friends decorated with bunting and lanterns. A BBQ, a quiz and an excellent band kept everyone entertained - with a Best Men (there were 3!) speech that was most amusing!

It was a fantastic day shared with a great group of family and friends. Congratulations to you both!

I was contacted recently by the wedding organisers at Farnham Castle to supply some shots of a wedding blessing I photographed in the chapel. It was a beautiful day and it was fantastic to be able to photograph in the chapel as not many people have been lucky enough to use the chapel for their wedding or blessing ceremonies. Farnham Castle are working on this - they have plans to appoint a vicar to conduct the ceremonies in the near future, very exciting! Happy New Year!

Welcome 2013!   Happy New Year to you All. I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and for those of you who had a break are fully fit and refreshed and ready to tackle all that this year throws at us. The end of 2012 was very busy, shooting in the studio right up until Christmas Eve so we were pleased to finish up and head off for Christmas. Christmas Day was kicked off with the gathering of the villagers in the Barley Mow for festive drinks then back home for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, Christmas pud with brandy cream, perfect! We were then struck with a case of Man Flu in the house - yes, Jason got the flu. He went to bed Christmas night and re-emerged New Years Day, poor soul. Having a bit of time in between nursing duties I had some time to reflect on 2012.
