No.10 Bridal Catwalk Show and Charity Auction at Northbrook Park - Part One

Wow! What can I say about the No.10 Catwalk Show at Northbrook Park - just that it was the most fabulous event and I was honoured to be part of it. I went along for most of the day photographing the whole event from the Vine Room being transformed by gorgeous chair covers and bright pink bows from Ambience Venue Styling and the softening drapes and pink lighting from the lovely Liz at Stress Free Hire - really made the rooms look special.

More pink!

More suppliers arrived to set up and continue making the Orangery look super. It was so nice that so many people wanted to give their time and expertise to help with this fantastic charity. Sarah from Creative Candi had a beautiful display of all pink sweets in lovely glass jars, BCC name tags and pink sweetie bags and pink ribbon on the serving spoons. These went down very well and the strawberry bonbons were especially yummy - so I am told.......! Cathy from The Style Station had a stunning table of pieces that attracted much attention in the evening, lovely items.

Scrummy Sweeties!

Really super pieces here that would be great at a wedding or at home.

Next to arrive were our glamorous models, hair stylists and make up artists who soon got busy making the girls look even more beautiful than they all ready were!

Pete from DJ At My Party set up and there was just time for a quick rehearsal.

So pretty

Outside also got the treatment too with lanterns and gas flambeaux lighting the way also from Stress Free Hire. James arrived with his handsome vintage London taxi a very impressive vehicle that would make a very special entrance at any event. James' taxi ride raised lots of money in the auction too.

And some of my albums on display too.

Then so quickly it was time for the guests to arrive, welcomed by our Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies, Roy Austin. The cakes from Tiers of delight were tucked into along with a glass of champagne or lemonade - pink of course! The band The Versions kicked off with a brilliant set, great tunes that had us singing along - albeit badly!

A well deserved glass - or 8 - for the hard workers!

Then on with the show. The girls back stage all looked so beautiful in their gowns and the dresses designed by Natalie were just so elegant. Paula from No.10 and the ladies did an excellent job of getting the girls ready and out onto the catwalk to strut their stuff. The guests oooed and ahhhed at the girls gliding along the catwalk - making notes of their favourites I'm sure.

How gorgeous can a dress be?!?

Then along came the little bridesmaid and everyone's hearts melted!
