Catwalk show in aid of Breast Cancer Care

Jones & Co are pleased to be part of the charity event organised by No.10 - superb Surrey wedding suppliers of the finest wedding gowns - in aid of Breast Cancer Care at one of the beautiful wedding venues in Farnham, Surrey - Northbrook Park. I will be buzzing around capturing all the action and goings on during the evening so come along to support this great charity, have a glass of champers, see some gorgeous gowns and say hello if you have a moment.

Gather your bridal party together and join us on the 19th September at Northbrook Park,Farnham in aid of Breast Cancer Care for an exclusive champagne catwalk preview of our new collections featuring top British designer label Madeline Isaac James, our new Bridal gown collection from Watters, Donna Lee Designs, Bridesmaid dresses from Alvina Valenta and our stunning mother of the bride and special occasion collection from Jaego. Along side this we will be showcasing some spectacular accessories, tiaras, belts, hats, fascinators and shoes.

Champagne and cupcakes at 7pm; followed by the catwalk show at 7.30pm, and then a fantastic Charity Auction where we have some AMAZING donations - including a pure silk wedding gown by designer label Madeline Isaac-James AND a personal consultation with the Designer, Natalie Gladman, vintage jewellery, beauty services and products, lingerie, wedding planning services, wedding photography advice, bridal flowers and much more - you could bid and win your perfect item for a fraction of its normal retail price and ALL proceeds are going to Breast Cancer Care!!  This is an evening not to be missed - not only will you see some amazing dresses in a beautiful catwalk show at a beautiful venue, but you'll also be raising much needed funds as all proceeds from the evening will be going to Breast Cancer Care.

Wedding in the chapel at Farnham Castle - Farnham Wedding Photographer

I was contacted recently by the wedding organisers at Farnham Castle to supply some shots of a wedding blessing I photographed in the chapel. It was a beautiful day and it was fantastic to be able to photograph in the chapel as not many people have been lucky enough to use the chapel for their wedding or blessing ceremonies. Farnham Castle are working on this - they have plans to appoint a vicar to conduct the ceremonies in the near future, very exciting! What Price On Professional Photography?

I read an interesting article recently from Rock N Roll Bride on thinking carefully about asking a friend or relative to take your wedding photographs. Loads of good advice and it was good that the writer understands that not everyone can afford to employ a photographer at £2000 or to some people there are things of a much higher priority to spend their wedding budget on. I am of exactly the same opinion - spend the most and on the best you can afford on the parts that matter the most. Now the 'but' - but remember that at the end of the day the photographs will tell the story and show the detail of this momentous occasion.
